About The Role
The Partnerships and Fundraising Manager role supports the Accelerating Asia team to build new client and investor relationships with key stakeholders in large enterprises, governments, universities, accredited investors, high net worth individuals, Family Offices and other institutional investors. This is a role central to our rapidly growing team that will offer significant opportunities for development as we scale regionally.

We’re looking for someone who is a fast learner, can take initiative, and work autonomously. A great candidate wants to learn about and from startups and is eager to be immersed in one of the world’s fastest-growing startup ecosystems.
You will:
Work directly with Accelerating Asia’s Founders to drive business and Fund expansion throughout the region.
Source new revenue opportunities and drive them to close.
Own the entire sales funnel, including researching prospects, generating and qualifying leads, and negotiating with potential partners.
Support fundraising for Accelerating Asia Ventures, a VCFM licensed fund.
Collaborate closely with program teams and Entrepreneurs in Residence to ensure high-quality program delivery.
Develop creative solutions to meet partner needs.
What you bring to the table:
Strength in networking & developing new areas of business development and strategic relationships
Resourceful, with strong communication and presentation skills
An experienced self-starter with a good network of clients and leads
Are comfortable managing ambitious revenue and fundraising targets
Are passionate about technology, startups and innovation
You know what it’s like to hustle and deal with constant “chicken and egg” situations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English). We have a direct way of communicating in the office. The ability to ask for help when you need it and to advocate for yourself and your work is essential.
Ability to effectively operate under stress and manage multiple projects on the go. We operate at a fast pace and the status quo changes quickly. We’re looking for a candidate who can thrive in our environment.
A positive, can-do attitude. We love to work with friendly, energetic people.
Travel: Open and able to travel for work in order to lead events and support operations.
Most importantly, you believe that founders are one of humanity’s greatest catalysts for positive change in this world.
