React Native Developer: Drive lah
Position
We are looking for a React Native developer interested in building performant mobile apps on both the iOS and Android platforms. You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. You will be working alongside a multicultural team and hence require good communication and team working capabilities.
Responsibilities
Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across Android and iOS.
Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
Transition existing React web apps to React Native.
Requirements
2-5 years of demonstrable experience in developing mobile apps using react-native.
Ability to write well-documented, clean Javascript code
Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts.
Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle, Android Studio and IntelliJ.
Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage.
Knowledge of the overall browser rendering behaviour and measuring and optimising performance.
Strong hands-on experience with source code management systems like Git, BitBucket.
