About the role 

The Junior Program Manager supports the Accelerating Asia team by owning the operations and community tasks for our three main programs: Accelerating Asia’s flagship accelerator program, Amplify, and Angel360. You will work closely together with different members of the Accelerating Asia team. This is a full-time role suited for entry-level candidates.

Tasks include:

• Working closely together with our EIRs to plan and schedule our 100-days flagship accelerator program 

• General flagship program logistics and operations. You will make the program plan a reality by organising virtual events, driving the startup selection process, internal cohort events, and more

• Collecting cohort metrics 

• Organising and driving our startup mentorship program 

• Act as the community champion for all of our programs. This means using our platforms to communicate with our startups on important information, news, and opportunities. 

What you bring to the table:

• An interest in working together with startups and immersing yourself in the startup ecosystem

• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills 

• Outgoing, positive attitude. You like engaging with people, supporting them when they need your help, and going the extra mile to create a great experience for our stakeholders

• Written and verbal communication skills (by the way, one of our values is being upfront and honest)

• Comfortable working in a startup environment (we move FAST) 

• Previous experience in a similar role or at an accelerator, incubator, or startup is a bonus 

• You embrace digital tools and automate processes like you’re equal parts inventor and creative. Metigy, Zapier, Typeform, Trello and ActiveCampaign are your friends. Work smart rather than hard

• Seamlessly run programs that are considered by our stakeholders to be organised and engaging

• Complete cohort metrics that you can present to our team by the deadline
