Partnership Associate/Manager
About The Role
The Partnerships Associate/ Manager role supports the Accelerating Asia team to build new client relationships with key stakeholders in large enterprises, governments, universities, development organisations and more. This role will start as permanent part time, with the opportunity to grow into a full time position. This is a role central to our rapidly growing team that will offer significant opportunities for development as we scale regionally.

You will
Work directly with Accelerating Asia’s Founders to drive business expansion throughout the Southeast and South Asian region
Source new revenue opportunities and drive them to close
Own the entire sales funnel, including researching prospects, generating and qualifying leads, and negotiating with potential partners.
Collaborate closely with program teams and Entrepreneurs in Residence to ensure high-quality program delivery
Develop creative solutions to meet partner needs
Ensure strong client relationships and account management
Lead grant applications, proposal development and tender applications
What you bring to the table
Strength in networking & developing new areas of business development and strategic relationships
Resourceful, with strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
An experienced self-starter with a good network of clients and leads
Are comfortable managing ambitious revenue targets
Are passionate about technology, startups and innovation
You know what it’s like to hustle and deal with constant “chicken and egg” situations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English). We have a direct way of communicating in the office. The ability to ask for help when you need it and to advocate for yourself and your work is essential.
Ability to effectively operate under stress and manage multiple projects on the go. We operate at a fast pace and the status quo changes quickly. We’re looking for a candidate who can thrive in our environment.

Location
Accelerating Asia is headquartered in Singapore and preference will be made for applicants who are located here. However for the right person, this role can also be adapted to be a remote role in a similar time zone.
